What a month February has been. We held 7 Winter Conferences with very good attendance. The last week of February was really wild. From Sunday, February 21, through Thursday, February 25, we traveled over 2000 miles passing through 13 states covering the East Coast.

It is always nice to see the people we are working with at least once a year. We just missed the big snowstorm on the East Coast this past week.

The main features on the conference schedule were:

Our research plots are still winning over 89% of the time!
We have a new product for you to try called "TSM-1", call for your free material.
Crop production cost spreadsheets for your use in educating your farmers. Call for your free copies.
1999 changes include adding the 6th grade, expanded services including the HEADSTART program and all the basic recommendations you want. The important thing is that all the data goes into the same main data base for making correlation.
Manure management program will include each of your own state's plan. When you get a manure management program written in your area be sure we get a copy.
TSM2000, which is our new Windows driven Internet soil fertility and mapping program, is getting people excited. Can you imagine getting a recommendation within 24 to 48 hours after you send off the samples? It is coming! How about being able to tell your customer which hybrids worked best on his farm or that there is another hybrid that he isn't using that might be better for his farm.
Pit Boss, the product used to control odor in manure, became the star of the show on the East Coast. TSM and Agway will be forming a marketing plan to cover the East Coast under an exclusive type agreement. Pit Boss works!!!! See the testimonials in this newsletter.
